GENERAL PURPOSE MAGNETIC SYSTEMS

MMT Company has developed and started to produce a series of novel structures for application in general purpose devices in many branches of industry.


1. Powerful magnetic systems (see Figure 1) for in-tube high resolution defectosopes for non-destructive diagnostics of the pipelines (for transport of gas, oil, and water). These systems are based on the principle of magnetic flux escape. Powerful magnetic systems for pipeline scrapers for removal of ferromagnetic build-up (Figure 2). The scrapers are mounted behind the defectoscope on the same carriage.

2. Magnetic systems for catcher mill with magnetic catcher. This device is used for the removal of ferromagnetic debris from holes and wells during their reactivation, maintenance and new hole drilling. The fragments of the drilling instruments can be removed as well.

Magnetic binding clamp for details of shuttering in production of non-standard ferroconcrete items
5. Magnetic system module for a vortex-current brake. Braking force is 350 kg on a combined rail with thickness 20 mm at relative velocity V = 1m/sec.
6. Magnetic binding clamp for details of shuttering in production of non-standard ferroconcrete items. Pullout force from a steel plate is 1500 kg.
Indicator of ferromagnetic inclusions in non-magnetic materials
Magnetic clamps (a set of 4) for fixation of various materials on ferromagnetic surfaces
7. Indicator of ferromagnetic inclusions in non-magnetic materials (e.g., steel scrape in a bunch of aluminium chip scrape etc.).
8. Magnetic clamps (a set of 4) for fixation of various materials on ferromagnetic surfaces. Release force of a single clamp is at least 15 kg.
9. Magnetic bearing for taking the load off the journal-bearings. Force Р= 1500 kg, rotation rate V = 1500 rpm.
